Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Alan Shields could be acquired at Phillips in 6 - in September this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Editions & Works on Paper: Online Auction auction, the work Synchromesh, from Soft and Fluffy Gears changed hands for USD 191.00 (€ 180.46) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alan Shields achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 3, 4, 5, 6 Preponderus Chool in September last year with an auction result of USD 37,800.00 (€ 38,638.45).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alan Shields konnte im September diesen Jahres bei Phillips in 6 - für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper: Online Auction wechselte die Arbeit Synchromesh, from Soft and Fluffy Gears für USD 191,00 (€ 180,46) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alan Shields erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 3, 4, 5, 6 Preponderus Chool im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.800,00 (€ 38.638,45).
