signed, annotated `I' and numbered 16/18 in pencil (there were also 6 artist's proofs), published by Tyler Graphics, Ltd., Mount Kisco, New York (with their inkstamp), in very good condition, framed.

Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Moose Set, from Box Sweet Jane’s Egg Triumvirate by Alan Shields was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 250.00 (€ 183.90). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alan Shields achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 3, 4, 5, 6 Preponderus Chool in September last year with an auction result of USD 37,800.00 (€ 38,638.45).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Moose Set, from Box Sweet Jane’s Egg Triumvirate von Alan Shields im Oktober 2013 bei Phillips in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 250,00 (€ 183,90) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alan Shields erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 3, 4, 5, 6 Preponderus Chool im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.800,00 (€ 38.638,45).
