This artwork by Zhu Jinshi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in November 2017. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Snow Of Bell Tower sold for USD 52,500.00 (€ 44,125.06) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhu Jinshi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Yellow Autumn in June 2014 with an auction result of CNY 1,888,000.00 (€ 222,312.34).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhu Jinshi erzielte im November 2017 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde die Arbeit Snow Of Bell Tower für USD 52.500,00 (€ 44.125,06) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhu Jinshi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Yellow Autumn im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 1.888.000,00 (€ 222.312,34).
