The work Thick Strokes No. 4 by Zhu Jinshi was sold in the Boundless: Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in June 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 23,368.38), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Admittedly, works by Zhu Jinshi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Yellow Autumn in June 2014 with an auction result of CNY 1,888,000.00 (€ 222,312.34).

Die Arbeit Thick Strokes No. 4 von Zhu Jinshi wurde im Juni 2016 in der Auktion Boundless: Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 23.368,38) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhu Jinshi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Yellow Autumn im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 1.888.000,00 (€ 222.312,34).
