Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Emperor Camel Wearing Sunglasses by Zhou Tiehai was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2013. It changed hands for a price of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,252.39) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhou Tiehai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Will/We Must (Set Of 15 Works) in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 4,840,000.00 (€ 498,292.10).
