Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ego Project: Paul Mccarthy/Mother Pig by Zhou Tiehai was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 18,308.06). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhou Tiehai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Will/We Must (Set Of 15 Works) in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 4,840,000.00 (€ 498,292.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ego Project: Paul Mccarthy/Mother Pig von Zhou Tiehai wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 18.308,06) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhou Tiehai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Will/We Must (Set Of 15 Works) im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.840.000,00 (€ 498.292,10).
