Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ego Project: Jeff Koons by Zhou Tiehai was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. The price achieved of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 16,180.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhou Tiehai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Will/We Must (Set Of 15 Works) in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 4,840,000.00 (€ 498,292.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ego Project: Jeff Koons von Zhou Tiehai kam im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 16.180,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhou Tiehai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Will/We Must (Set Of 15 Works) im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.840.000,00 (€ 498.292,10).
