Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Placebo Series: 5-1 And 5-2 (Two Works) by Zhou Tiehai was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 350,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 45,065.99). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhou Tiehai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Will/We Must (Set Of 15 Works) in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 4,840,000.00 (€ 498,292.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Placebo Series: 5-1 And 5-2 (Two Works) von Zhou Tiehai wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 350.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 45.065,99) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhou Tiehai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Will/We Must (Set Of 15 Works) im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.840.000,00 (€ 498.292,10).
