Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Computer Controlled By Pig'S Brain: Indoor Courtyard 2 by Zheng Guogu was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in October 2013. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,729.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zheng Guogu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Waterfall, which sold at auction in May 2012 for HKD 560,000.00 (€ 58,337.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Computer Controlled By Pig'S Brain: Indoor Courtyard 2 von Zheng Guogu wurde im Oktober 2013 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.729,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zheng Guogu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Waterfall beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für HKD 560.000,00 (€ 58.337,11) versteigert wurde.
