A top price for Zheng Guogu
This artwork by Zheng Guogu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. In the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Waterfall sold for HKD 560,000.00 (€ 58,337.11) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00. This high result makes Waterfall the most expensive artwork by Zheng Guogu that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Zheng Guogu
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zheng Guogu erzielte im Mai 2012 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit Waterfall für HKD 560.000,00 (€ 58.337,11) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Waterfall zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Zheng Guogu, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
