Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2015 Phillips in New York held the auction Evening & Day Editions, which included the work AK-47 by Zhang Dali. The price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,239.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Dali achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinese Offspring in October 2011 with an auction result of GBP 91,250.00 (€ 105,604.52).
