Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Zhang Dali could be acquired at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Asia auction, the work Dialogue Series; & Dialogue Series: Full Link Plaza, Beijing changed hands for HKD 1,375.00 (€ 157.37) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 14,000.00 – 24,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Dali achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinese Offspring in October 2011 with an auction result of GBP 91,250.00 (€ 105,604.52).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhang Dali konnte im Mai 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia wechselte die Arbeit Dialogue Series; & Dialogue Series: Full Link Plaza, Beijing für HKD 1.375,00 (€ 157,37) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 14.000,00 – 24.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Dali erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chinese Offspring im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 91.250,00 (€ 105.604,52).
