Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dialogue, Ping An Avenue, Beijing, 1998 by Zhang Dali was sold in the Living Contemporary auction at Sothebys in Paris in March last year. The price achieved of EUR 1,260.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Dali achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinese Offspring in October 2011 with an auction result of GBP 91,250.00 (€ 105,604.52).
