Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Road Lines III by Zarina for USD 3,780.00 (€ 3,272.16). This price was achieved in the auction Editions & Works on Paper at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zarina achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tasbih (Gold) in March last year with an auction result of USD 365,400.00 (€ 329,396.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Road Lines III von Zarina für USD 3.780,00 (€ 3.272,16) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zarina erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tasbih (Gold) im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 365.400,00 (€ 329.396,92).
