Auction result well in line with expectations
In August this year Bonhams in New York held the auction Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash, which included the work Aerial View of 33rd Street by Yvonne Jacquette. The price achieved of USD 1,280.00 (€ 1,180.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yvonne Jacquette achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 29Th Street Night View in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 16,250.00 (€ 14,266.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash durch, in der auch die Arbeit Aerial View of 33rd Street von Yvonne Jacquette zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.280,00 (€ 1.180,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yvonne Jacquette erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 29Th Street Night View im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 14.266,90).
