Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work 22nd Street by Yvonne Jacquette was auctioned at Phillips in New York in 2009, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 900.00 – 1,200.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 625.00 (€ 546.23). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yvonne Jacquette achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 29Th Street Night View in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 16,250.00 (€ 14,266.90).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit 22nd Street von Yvonne Jacquette im 2009 bei Phillips in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 900,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 625,00 (€ 546,23) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yvonne Jacquette erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 29Th Street Night View im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 14.266,90).
