This artwork by Yvonne Jacquette achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in October 2013. In the Evening & Day Editions auction, the work Tip of Manhattan sold for USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,137.85) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yvonne Jacquette - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 29Th Street Night View, which sold at auction in March 2016 for USD 16,250.00 (€ 14,266.90).

In der Auktion Evening & Day Editions wurde die Arbeit Tip of Manhattan für USD 5.625,00 (€ 4.137,85) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yvonne Jacquette mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 29Th Street Night View beobachtet, die im März 2016 für USD 16.250,00 (€ 14.266,90) versteigert wurde.
