In February 2020 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's 100, which included the work Staten Island Night View I by Yvonne Jacquette. The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,267.57), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Yvonne Jacquette have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 29Th Street Night View in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 16,250.00 (€ 14,266.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Februar 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's 100 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Staten Island Night View I von Yvonne Jacquette zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.267,57) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yvonne Jacquette auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 29Th Street Night View im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 14.266,90).
