The price achieved of EUR 1,195.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Yvan Theys have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Belgian l'Invitation - De Inwijding in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 6,250.00.
