Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Man knielend by Yvan Theys was sold in the Nineteen to Now including Topographical Observations auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2011. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00. Admittedly, works by Yvan Theys have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Belgian l'Invitation - De Inwijding in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 6,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Man knielend von Yvan Theys wurde im September 2011 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now including Topographical Observations bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yvan Theys auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Belgian l'Invitation - De Inwijding im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.250,00.
