In September 2007 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours, which included the work 'Dijenvrijheid' by Yvan Theys. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,750.00 25% above the upper estimate. Other works by Yvan Theys have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 6,250.00 in June 2010 for the work Belgian l'Invitation - De Inwijding.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im September 2007 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Dijenvrijheid' von Yvan Theys zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.750,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Yvan Theys haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.250,00 im Juni 2010 für die Arbeit Belgian l'Invitation - De Inwijding beobachtet.
