Auction result well in line with expectations
The work De kathedraal II by Yvan Theys was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2011. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,125.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Yvan Theys have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Belgian l'Invitation - De Inwijding in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 6,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit De kathedraal II von Yvan Theys kam im September 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.125,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yvan Theys auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Belgian l'Invitation - De Inwijding im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.250,00.
