Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Zomer - Summer by Yvan Theys was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2011. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,625.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yvan Theys - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Belgian l'Invitation - De Inwijding, which sold at auction in June 2010 for EUR 6,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Zomer - Summer von Yvan Theys kam im März 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.625,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Yvan Theys mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Belgian l'Invitation - De Inwijding beobachtet, die im Juni 2010 für EUR 6.250,00 versteigert wurde.
