Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2010 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations, which included the work Portret met en abstrakt en een realistisch venster by Yvan Theys. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Yvan Theys have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Belgian l'Invitation - De Inwijding in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 6,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2010 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portret met en abstrakt en een realistisch venster von Yvan Theys zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yvan Theys auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Belgian l'Invitation - De Inwijding im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.250,00.
