The work Sika Deer(Executed In 1962) by Yuyu Yang was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 566,400.00 (€ 63,777.48), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yuyu Yang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Advent of the Phoenix, which sold at auction in November 2007 for HKD 2,047,500.00 (€ 178,988.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sika Deer(Executed In 1962) von Yuyu Yang kam im Oktober 2018 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 566.400,00 (€ 63.777,48) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Für andere Arbeiten von Yuyu Yang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Advent of the Phoenix beobachtet, die im November 2007 für HKD 2.047.500,00 (€ 178.988,97) versteigert wurde.
