In October 2015 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Asian Art, which included the work Deer by Yuyu Yang. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 475,000.00 (€ 55,492.66), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yuyu Yang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Advent of the Phoenix, which sold at auction in November 2007 for HKD 2,047,500.00 (€ 178,988.97).

Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen

Im Oktober 2015 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Deer von Yuyu Yang zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 55.492,66) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Yuyu Yang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Advent of the Phoenix beobachtet, die im November 2007 für HKD 2.047.500,00 (€ 178.988,97) versteigert wurde.
