The work A: Day'S Labor; B: Self Portrait; C: Light Three Works by Yuyu Yang was sold in the Modern Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. The result of HKD 30,000.00 (€ 3,504.80) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 30,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuyu Yang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Advent of the Phoenix in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 2,047,500.00 (€ 178,988.97).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit A: Day'S Labor; B: Self Portrait; C: Light Three Works von Yuyu Yang wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Modern Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 30.000,00 (€ 3.504,80) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuyu Yang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Advent of the Phoenix im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.047.500,00 (€ 178.988,97).
