Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A: Il Lavoro Al Sorgere Delle Sole; B: Infinity Series - Spring; C: Infinity Series - Joy Of Life Three Works by Yuyu Yang was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 160,000.00 – 240,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 18,984.33) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Yuyu Yang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Advent of the Phoenix in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 2,047,500.00 (€ 178,988.97).

Die Arbeit A: Il Lavoro Al Sorgere Delle Sole; B: Infinity Series - Spring; C: Infinity Series - Joy Of Life Three Works von Yuyu Yang kam im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 160.000,00 – 240.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 18.984,33) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yuyu Yang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Advent of the Phoenix im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.047.500,00 (€ 178.988,97).
