Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Growth by Yuyu Yang was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. The price achieved of HKD 350,000.00 (€ 40,889.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 400,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yuyu Yang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Advent of the Phoenix in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 2,047,500.00 (€ 178,988.97).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Die Arbeit Growth von Yuyu Yang kam im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 350.000,00 (€ 40.889,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yuyu Yang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Advent of the Phoenix im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.047.500,00 (€ 178.988,97).
