Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day, which included the work Nane And Kami In Front Of Picasso'S Parade by Y. Z. Kami. It changed hands for a price of USD 28,000.00 (€ 19,063.18) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Y. Z. Kami have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Maryam) in November last year with an auction result of USD 153,720.00 (€ 148,910.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2007 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nane And Kami In Front Of Picasso'S Parade von Y. Z. Kami zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 28.000,00 (€ 19.063,18) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Y. Z. Kami auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Maryam) im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 153.720,00 (€ 148.910,20).
