Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Y. Z. Kami was sold in the Bear Witness | #SothebysBearWitness auction at Sothebys in London in March 2015. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 20,738.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Y. Z. Kami have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Maryam) in November last year with an auction result of USD 153,720.00 (€ 148,910.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Y. Z. Kami wurde im März 2015 in der Auktion Bear Witness | #SothebysBearWitness bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 20.738,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Y. Z. Kami auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Maryam) im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 153.720,00 (€ 148.910,20).
