Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Intellectual Youth Series by Xiao Hong was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2011. The price achieved of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 28,699.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Other works by Xiao Hong have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2008 the work The Series Of Intelligent Youths 2007 No. 1 was auctioned for USD 67,000.00 (€ 42,391.65).

Die Arbeit Intellectual Youth Series von Xiao Hong wurde im November 2011 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 28.699,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Xiao Hong konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2008 die Arbeit The Series Of Intelligent Youths 2007 No. 1 für USD 67.000,00 (€ 42.391,65) versteigert.
