In November 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Milkstone by Wolfgang Laib. The »bidding war« ended at USD 93,750.00 (€ 78,794.76), 34% above the upper estimate. Other works by Wolfgang Laib have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 112,500.00 in December 2016 for the work Milkstone.

Im November 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Milkstone von Wolfgang Laib zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 78.794,76) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Wolfgang Laib haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 112.500,00 im Dezember 2016 für die Arbeit Milkstone beobachtet.
