Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Nirgendwo by Wolfgang Laib for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,192.18). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wolfgang Laib achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Milkstone in December 2016 with an auction result of EUR 112,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Nirgendwo von Wolfgang Laib für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.192,18) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wolfgang Laib erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Milkstone im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 112.500,00.
