Auction result fails to reach estimate
In October 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work 2 Bll. Figürliche Kompositionen by Willem Grimm for EUR 179.00. This price was achieved in the auction Alte und Moderne Kunst/ Maritime Kunst at Ketterer and was even lower than the EUR 300.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willem Grimm achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gruppe mit Maske und Blumenhut in October 2005 with an auction result of EUR 2,975.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Oktober 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit 2 Bll. Figürliche Kompositionen von Willem Grimm für EUR 179,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Alte und Moderne Kunst/ Maritime Kunst bei Ketterer erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von EUR 300,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Willem Grimm erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gruppe mit Maske und Blumenhut im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.975,00.
