Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Wayne Gonzales was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2019. The price achieved of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,492.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wayne Gonzales achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cheering Crowd in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 45,821.11).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Wayne Gonzales kam im Juli 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.492,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wayne Gonzales erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cheering Crowd im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 45.821,11).
