The work Princess by Tschabalala Self was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2021. It achieved a price of USD 15,120.00 (€ 12,875.76), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tschabalala Self achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Princess in February 2020 with an auction result of GBP 435,000.00 (€ 504,165.99).

Die Arbeit Princess von Tschabalala Self kam im März 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 15.120,00 (€ 12.875,76) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tschabalala Self erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Princess im Februar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 435.000,00 (€ 504.165,99).
