Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tschabalala Self achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in April last year. In the New Now auction, the work Princess sold for GBP 23,940.00 (€ 28,547.60) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tschabalala Self achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Princess in February 2020 with an auction result of GBP 435,000.00 (€ 504,165.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tschabalala Self erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde die Arbeit Princess für GBP 23.940,00 (€ 28.547,60) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tschabalala Self erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Princess im Februar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 435.000,00 (€ 504.165,99).
