Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tomokazu Matsuyama achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in an online auction in November 2021. In the Wired: Online Auction auction, the work The Couch Unsent Piano AP sold for GBP 4,032.00 (€ 4,733.95) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tomokazu Matsuyama achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Something Came Together in April last year with an auction result of HKD 5,040,000.00 (€ 609,372.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tomokazu Matsuyama erzielte im November 2021 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Wired: Online Auction wurde die Arbeit The Couch Unsent Piano AP für GBP 4.032,00 (€ 4.733,95) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tomokazu Matsuyama erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Something Came Together im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.040.000,00 (€ 609.372,69).
