Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October this year Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale, which included the work Daylight In My Place by Tomokazu Matsuyama. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 2,540,000.00 (€ 307,165.03), 15% above the upper estimate. Other works by Tomokazu Matsuyama have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 5,040,000.00 (€ 609,372.69) in April last year for the work Something Came Together.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Daylight In My Place von Tomokazu Matsuyama zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 2.540.000,00 (€ 307.165,03) und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Tomokazu Matsuyama haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.040.000,00 (€ 609.372,69) im April letzten Jahres für die Arbeit Something Came Together beobachtet.
