It achieved a price of CNY 819,000.00 (€ 106,011.90), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 64%. Admittedly, works by Tomokazu Matsuyama have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Something Came Together in April last year with an auction result of HKD 5,040,000.00 (€ 609,372.69).

Die Arbeit Promo Minimum von Tomokazu Matsuyama kam im September diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von CNY 819.000,00 (€ 106.011,90) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 64%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tomokazu Matsuyama auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Something Came Together im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.040.000,00 (€ 609.372,69).
