Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Broken Train Pick Me by Tomokazu Matsuyama was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at POLY in Hong Kong in July last year. The price achieved of HKD 30,000.00 (€ 3,743.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tomokazu Matsuyama achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Something Came Together in April last year with an auction result of HKD 5,040,000.00 (€ 609,372.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Broken Train Pick Me von Tomokazu Matsuyama wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 30.000,00 (€ 3.743,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tomokazu Matsuyama erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Something Came Together im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.040.000,00 (€ 609.372,69).
