This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Evening Auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 800,000.00 many times over. This high result makes Something Came Together the most expensive artwork by Tomokazu Matsuyama that we have observed at auctions so far.
