Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Woman dematerialising in a swamp by Tim Lokiec was sold in the Contemporary Art Part II auction at Phillips in New York in May 2008. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 6,426.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Tim Lokiec have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2007 the work Spiked Driftwood with Colorwave was auctioned for USD 10,200.00 (€ 7,581.95).

Die Arbeit Woman dematerialising in a swamp von Tim Lokiec wurde im Mai 2008 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Part II bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 6.426,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Tim Lokiec konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2007 die Arbeit Spiked Driftwood with Colorwave für USD 10.200,00 (€ 7.581,95) versteigert.
