Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2009 a collector was able to acquire the work Love Minus Zero / No Limit by Tim Lokiec for USD 438.00 (€ 330.72). This price was achieved in the auction Saturday@Phillips at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 700.00 – 900.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tim Lokiec achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spiked Driftwood with Colorwave in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 10,200.00 (€ 7,581.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2009 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Love Minus Zero / No Limit von Tim Lokiec für USD 438,00 (€ 330,72) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Saturday@Phillips bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 700,00 – 900,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tim Lokiec erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spiked Driftwood with Colorwave im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.200,00 (€ 7.581,95).
