Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Probe by Tim Eitel was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2019. It changed hands for a price of USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,708.00) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tim Eitel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Schwarzer Sand in November 2006 with an auction result of USD 284,800.00 (€ 214,765.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Probe von Tim Eitel kam im Juli 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.708,00) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tim Eitel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Schwarzer Sand im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 284.800,00 (€ 214.765,10).
