Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tim Eitel achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in May last year. In the Art contemporain - vente online auction, the work Last sold for EUR 20,160.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tim Eitel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Schwarzer Sand in November 2006 with an auction result of USD 284,800.00 (€ 214,765.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tim Eitel erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art contemporain - vente online wurde die Arbeit Last für EUR 20.160,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tim Eitel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Schwarzer Sand im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 284.800,00 (€ 214.765,10).
