Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Misfit" (faisan & chevreau) by Thomas Grünfeld was auctioned at Phillips in London in April 2019. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,816.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Thomas Grünfeld have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Misfit (Cow) in June 2003 with an auction result of GBP 31,070.00 (€ 44,649.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Misfit" (faisan & chevreau) von Thomas Grünfeld kam im April 2019 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.816,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thomas Grünfeld auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Misfit (Cow) im Juni 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 31.070,00 (€ 44.649,28).
