The work Misfits by Thomas Grünfeld was sold in the Contemporary Art 2 auction at Artcurial in Paris in December 2010. The price achieved of EUR 4,305.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Grünfeld achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Misfit (Cow) in June 2003 with an auction result of GBP 31,070.00 (€ 44,649.28).

Die Arbeit Misfits von Thomas Grünfeld wurde im Dezember 2010 in der Auktion Contemporary Art 2 bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.305,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Grünfeld erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Misfit (Cow) im Juni 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 31.070,00 (€ 44.649,28).
