Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2010 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art 2, which included the work Yeux Sur Toile, 1996 by Thomas Grünfeld. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,040.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Grünfeld achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Misfit (Cow) in June 2003 with an auction result of GBP 31,070.00 (€ 44,649.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2010 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art 2 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Yeux Sur Toile, 1996 von Thomas Grünfeld zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.040,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Grünfeld erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Misfit (Cow) im Juni 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 31.070,00 (€ 44.649,28).
